Peggy Gotte an inspired and dedicated nurse, started IV Access in July of 2002. Peggy’s accomplished career prior to opening IV Access, was both diversified and fulfilling. Peggy was one of the first woman firefighter/Paramedic’s in the state of Florida, and for the City of Delray beach fire dept. Peggy held executive leadership positions within local hospitals as well as was responsible for one of the largest HBO Hyperbaric Oxygen Chambers in the Country. Peggy was presented with an opportunity to start a vascular access company with a small Pharmacy contract, and quickly took it knowing it was an opportunity of a lifetime. “I wanted to prove through compassion and love I could positively impact patient outcomes and make their lives a little bit better.
Peggy’s clients ran through a continuum of care from Acute care hospitals, long term care facilities, skilled nursing facilities, physician and outpatient practices and home health. She has provided expertise and support to some of the largest Pharmacies, Hospitals, Physicians and other ancillary healthcare industries. Peggy has assisted large trauma centers and teaching hospitals in the establishment of in house Vascular Access teams including the dictation of policy and procedures leading to the ongoing success of their programs.
As of today, all three of Peggy’s children are Vascular Access nurses working alongside of her. The continued joy and love for her children and ability to spend each day with them has allowed her to teach her children the meaning, value and artistry of being a nurse.

Because of her love for her children and deep desire to help others in need, She has teamed up to support “Chasin a dream foundation” which is a non-profit organization helping children and families with life threatening diseases. All money raised go directly to the children and families.
