Kavel Smith was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica. He is the youngest of three siblings on his mother side and is the only sibling in his family to attend college. Kavel work ethics granted him a soccer scholarship in the United States where he pursued his degree in business.

Kavel received his bachelors in Business Management with a minor in Marketing at McKendree University in Lebanon, Illinois. He then continued his education to receive a Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A) from McKendree University, all while working a full-time job at a non-profit elementary school, North Side Community School, which provide education to a low-income, under-served neighborhood in St. Louis and working a part time job. Kavel was awarded a position as the Assistant Accountant/Operation manager/Technology and Food manager at North Side Community School. His dedication, hard work and creative thinking allowed him to design new strategies to better record transactions and viable ways to save money. The accounting department was recognized for the hard work both Kavel and his Director have done in such a short time. Kavel is now the Office Manager for IV Access where he continues to work hard as part of our family. Working at IV Access gave him the experience to have a deep appreciation for how IV access operates and seek to improve the quality of life for patients in the southeast region; one region at a time.
